Experience Crayola in Plano

The Crayola Experience is an exuberant, color-crazy adventure! It wasn't too long ago that Keri gave us a look at Crayola Orlando, and now it's Karen here - checking out the newest (much closer) Crayola, the fourth location for this popular attraction. Crayola Experience Plano, Texas' most colorful family destination, opened at The Shops at Willow Bend (6121 W. Park Blvd.) last month, and this place is rocking! If your family enjoys making the occasional drive to the Dallas Metroplex, you'll be happy to have one more family-friendly attraction to add to your list when visiting the area. 

Easter Seals Offers Early Childhood Intervention Program

altMy younger son was a late walker, and as a new mom I was in a panic. Thanks to advice from friends and our pediatrician, I had my son evaluated for free by Easter Seals' Early Childhood Intervention program. Early intervention services help young children with disabilities and developmental delays achieve their goals in cognitive, social/emotional, communicative, adaptive and physical development. If your child isn't meeting developmental milestones like babbling, crawling, feeding, talking and walking by certain ages, they may qualify for extra help. 

Bike The Woodlands Month Kicks Off in May With Activities and Workshops

altThe Woodlands Township will host a number of activities throughout the month of May in celebration of National Bike Month, in efforts to create a better community through bicycling.

There are numerous events planned throughout the month of May for riders of all types. Bike to Work Day will take place on Friday, May 17, 2019, from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive. Bike commuters are invited to meet for refreshments and bike commuting information.

Free Comic Book Day Offers Kid-Friendly Favorites at Local Retailers

altFree Comic Book Day (FCBD) is an annual event founded on the belief that for every person out there, there's a comic book that they'll love. Every first Saturday in May, the industry comes together to give away free comics and encourage fans, both old and new, to flock to the best place in the comic book community: local comic shops. These are the hubs of the comic community, where fans can come together and discover new comics, make lifelong friends, and find a sense of commonality. Free Comic Book Day 2019 features an amazing selection of comic book titles for the industry's most anticipated annual event which happens Saturday, May 4th, at participating comic book shops worldwide.
