Moms, it’s time for soccer! Whether your child is new to the sport or already a soccer sensation,  we have a memo for you. Registration is now underway for The Houston Dutch Lions FC. 

A soccer club based in The Woodlands / Conroe community, The Houston Dutch Lions FC is run under the European professional model and is open to all players (boys and girls) looking to improve their skills and cultivate a love for the game of soccer. The goal of the organization to develop young players (Youth Academy starts at 4 years old) by utilizing only top-quality, professionally licensed coaches and implement the highly successful Dutch soccer philosophy. Youth Academy offers players the opportunity to develop their soccer skills over time and help these players reach the top of their potential.

Township Trick or Treat Trail Moves to Northshore Park for 2018

altThe popular annual Halloween celebration, Trick or Treat Trail, will relocate to Northshore Park, located at 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive in The Woodlands for the 2018 event taking place on Sunday, October 28, 2018, from 3 to 6 p.m.

As a community favorite for princesses, pirates, ghosts and goblins to show off their costumes and enjoy a spooktacular celebration of Halloween, the event gives children the opportunity to trick or treat from booth to booth and fill their bags with goodies from local vendors. Trick or Treat Trail also includes strolling entertainers, inflatables, games, a photo area, costume contests presented by Texas Children's Hospital and more.

FREE Family Fun - 2018 Health, Beauty & Wellness Expo

Bring the whole family to the 2018 Health, Beauty & Wellness Expo on July 28th hosted by The Truly Natural Company. This free, fun-filled event will take place inside The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Open to the public, the expo is a great opportunity for the entire community to connect with and support small businesses in The Woodlands area offering services and products for sale. Additionally, the organizes will be collecting new school supplies on behalf of Interfaith Young Professional’s Kits 4 Kidz program.

Come early for breakfast and stay for lunch from Skye Café, and beat the heat with snowballs from N’awlins Sneaux Bawls. In the morning, kids will enjoy a visit from The Woodlands Fire Station and Precinct 4 Police, as well amazing talent from Neverland Balloons and Face Painting who will be there all day providing bonus fun for all ages! There will also be a petting zoo!
