The Woodlands Township will hold the National Night Out Community Safety Expo on Saturday, October 6, 2018, from noon to 3 p.m. at Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive. This free, family-friendly event highlights public safety in the community and is held in advance of National Night Out, which is set for Sunday, October 14, 2018.

The Community Safety Expo will include public safety demonstrations and fun for all ages. Learn from public safety personnel and see equipment from local, state and federal agencies. The various agencies and groups will have information and giveaways to distribute on fire and crime prevention, emergency preparedness and health and wellness.

Entertainment will include K-9 demonstrations, Entergy Arcs and Sparks, Fire Safety and Hands-Only CPR. Live music will be provided by Texas Joe Bailey and the Sweet Leaf Junction Band. The Kid Zone will have face painting, a bounce house, crafts and an opportunity to meet McGruff the Crime Dog. Complimentary food and refreshments will be offered while supplies last, sponsored by HEB, Chick-fil-A and Firehouse Subs.
