AbracaDAD! The Woodlands Children’s Museum is celebrating Father’s Day with a magical twist of the wand! On Saturday, June 17, 2023, children can create a magical day with dad by enjoying a magic show and other spellbinding activities at the museum.
Famous magician David Blaine states that, “Magic is not about having a puzzle to solve. It’s about creating a moment of awe and astonishment. And that can be a beautiful thing.” On this magical day, we bring together two amazing performers known for creating their own awe and astonishment.
Registration is now open for the 20th Annual YMCA Kids Triathlon to be held on Saturday, July 15, 7:30am at the Branch Crossing YMCA location. Children ages 6-13 are able to register and experience the fun and excitement of a triathlon. It will be a morning of friendly competition and physical activity that can lead to a lifetime of wellness. The event is designed for all levels, especially for the 1st Timers. Previous triathlon experience is not required.
On June 14, get all shook up as the Houston Symphony performs Symphonic Tribute to Elvis in a rollicking retrospective for the ages on The Pavilion Main Stage, sponsored by Huntsman! Symphonic Tribute to Elvis features internationally recognized and award-winning Tribute Artist, Patrick Dunn, and showcases the Houston Symphony orchestra conducted by the show’s producer, Dr. Bryan English. Gates will open at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. performance. Mezzanine and lawn seating are FREE. Reserved orchestra seats are available for $25 per ticket.
Get your ducks in a row and migrate to The Woodlands Children’s Museum on Friday, June 9, 2023 to celebrate Donald Duck, a beloved character who has appeared in over 200 Disney movies. Guests can join in singing “Happy Birthday” while posing for photos at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm and 2:30pm.
