Memorial Day in The Woodlands pays tribute to all military service men and women who lost their lives while serving in the United States military. Keynote speaker Colonel James B. Raney – United States Army (Retired) will be featured along with the Our Community Salutes swearing-in ceremony. Our Community Salutes recognizes, honors and supports local high school seniors who plan to enlist into the U.S. Armed Services after graduation. The event will feature live music by Rapture (Variety) and will conclude with a fireworks display, presented by Woodforest National Bank, weather permitting.

On Thursday, June 1, The Houston Symphony will present Toy Story in Concert featuring a screening of the groundbreaking complete film with Oscar® and Grammy®-winning composer Randy Newman’s musical score performed live to the film.
