Engineering for Kids North Houston Celebrates Grand Opening - March 2, 2023

Engineering for Kids, a global leader in STEM education outside the traditional classroom setting, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its newest location in North Houston. Owned and operated by the dynamic duo of Abigail and Peter McDonald, Engineering for Kids of The Woodlands and Spring is set to open its doors with a special Open House event on March 2nd, from 1 PM to 4 PM at 27316 Spectrum Way, Conroe, TX. 

The McDonalds, both passionate about STEM and experienced in the field, are excited to invite the community to this come-and-go event, offering a unique opportunity for families to explore a wide range of educational offerings. The Grand Opening will showcase interactive activities suitable for children of all ages, including robotics demonstrations, a community art project, a family engineering challenge, and a collaborative Lego cityscape construction. Additionally, tours of the state-of-the-art facility will be available, giving insight into the innovative learning environment.

Abigail and Peter McDonald bring a wealth of experience to Engineering for Kids North Houston. Abigail, with her background in mathematics and data science, and Peter, leveraging his experience as a U.S. Army Reserve member and an IBM project manager, are committed to providing innovative educational opportunities. Their vision is to not only teach STEM concepts but to inspire children to become creators and innovators in technology.
