Spring is nearing full swing at north Houston’s City Place as March brings a week of complimentary activations spotlighting the Texas Bubblers, AndyRooniverse, Tippi Toes and Mr. Leo’s Puppet show, as well as a movie night and a pair of Saturday markets. The month also unveils Periwinkle, a one-of-a-kind temporary art installation, along with a special fashion exhibit kicking off International Women’s Day. Visitors will also enjoy an Easter celebration and popular reoccurring programming. Howard Hughes announces the first Salad and Go, a healthy dining establishment in a fast-service setup, in the Village of College Park in The Woodlands. Salad and Go will be situated at the southeast corner of College Park Drive (State Highway 242) and Fellowship Drive.

The Magnolia Basketball Association “MBA” (magnoliabasketball.com) and Alodia Basketball Academy (alodiasports.com) are excited to announce their strategic partnership to provide year-round basketball youth leagues, skills training, and camps in the Magnolia community. The NEW MBA will be Magnolia Basketball-Alodia.
Spring Youth League and Skills Training (April and May) will be the first programs offered to the community. Registration for this program is available now and open to boys and girls grades 1-8. Grades 7-8 division is a new offering for the youth leagues in the Magnolia community.

Owned and operated by the dynamic duo of Abigail and Peter McDonald, Engineering for Kids of The Woodlands and Spring is set to open its doors with a special Open House event on March 2nd, from 1 PM to 4 PM at 27316 Spectrum Way, Conroe, TX.
The Woodlands Children’s Museum is pleased to announce it has been approved by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) for a Challenge America award of $10,000. This grant will support arts programming through the Periwinkle Arts In Medicine program at Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center at Texas Children’s Hospital. In total, the NEA will award 257 Challenge America awards totaling $2,570,000 that were announced as part of its first round of fiscal year 2024 grants.
Rock the Row, the popular and free outdoor concert series sponsored by Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. and hosted by The Woodlands Township, will return on Thursday, March 21 for its spring season.
