The LEGO Store will be hosting a FREE DREAMZzz Turtle Van Minibuild Event on September 13 & 14 from 5pm - 7pm, and then again September 16 & 17 from 12pm - 2pm. Kids can build a free DREAMZzz Turtle VanModel. Limited to one per person while supplies last.

The in-store build is 42 pieces, and it's a great way to introduce your child o the world of LEGOS at no cost to you! No reservations required.

The Woodlands Township will host Patriot Day of Remembrance on Monday, September 11, 2023, from 7:30 to 8 a.m., at Central Fire Station, 9951 Grogan’s Mill Road, The Woodlands, TX 77380. The community is invited to attend the ceremony honoring the brave men and women who tragically lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Shiver Me Timbers! Ariel is set to make a splash at the upcoming Pirate ‘n Mermaid Day at The Woodlands Children’s Museum!

Mermaids, scalawags, and pirates are invited to celebrate on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 10:00am until 2:00pm.  During the event, young buccaneers can explore the museum with a treasure map and be on the lookout for hidden treasures.  The museum’s exhibits will be open for play, including The Muse art bar where children can create a unique pirate hat or mermaid mask. In the Light Lab, children can use a variety of translucent sea shells to sort, match and identify colors and shapes.

National Youth Theater (NYT) announces their upcoming production of Finding Nemo Jr., a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo. 

Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo Jr. brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

The Woodlands Township will host a free event on Saturday, September 30, 2023 to share tips and resources for creating landscapes that are beautiful as well as water-wise and earth-friendly. The 26^th annual Woodlands Landscaping Solutions will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive.

Woodlands Landscaping Solutions, the region’s premier lawn and garden event, features dozens of retail and educational booths as well as lectures and hands-on learning by area experts with years of experience.

Guests are invited to buckle up for an outer-space adventure with The Cynthia Woodlands Pavilion and Houston Symphony at Blast Off to Space! Thursday, September 14, 2023. The action-packed show, sponsored by Insperity, will feature iconic music from Star Wars, E.T., The Planets and more – from the moon to Mars and beyond, this event is sure to transport everyone’s imagination to a galaxy far, far away! Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. performance. Mezzanine and lawn seating are FREE. Reserved orchestra seats are available for $25 per ticket.
