The Woodlands Township invites residents to the Memorial Day in The Woodlands event on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Drive, from 5 to 9 p.m. The Sunday event pays tribute to all military service men and women who lost their lives while serving our country. The tribute features live music, children's activities, strolling entertainment and more at Town Green Park. The evening concludes with a fireworks display (weather permitting) choreographed to a patriotic soundtrack.
EVENT SCHEDULE
The evening will feature a full schedule of events including live music, a keynote address, a special military ceremony, and a fireworks finale.
Schedule of Events
- 5:00 p.m. – Welcome and National Anthem
- 5:10 p.m. – Live Music by Nervous Rex (Variety)
- 7:00 p.m. – Keynote Speaker and AUSA Houston Honor Your Hero Ceremony
- 7:45 p.m. – Live Music by Nervous Rex continues
- 8:55 p.m. – Fireworks (time approximate; weather permitting)
About the Honor Your Hero Ceremony
Presented by the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Houston, this meaningful ceremony honors individuals entering the United States military. Attendees will witness the official swear-in, marking the beginning of a life committed to service and sacrifice for our nation and communities.
CARE PACKAGE DONATIONS
A care package drop-off booth will be available onsite, providing attendees with the opportunity to support deployed service members. Donations of recommended items—such as snacks, toiletries, travel-sized hygiene products, socks, and handwritten notes—will be collected and shipped to troops stationed overseas. Help make a difference by contributing a small item that brings comfort and appreciation to those serving our country.
PARKING
Free parking, generously donated by Timberloch, Inc., will be available at the orange, yellow, blue and white lots at 2002 Timberloch Place. Other designated parking areas include:
- Parking lot located at 9669 Grogan's Mill Road
- 24 Waterway Parking Garage (located at the corner of Fountain Plaza and Lake Robbins Drive)
- Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court)
- Surface parking lot along the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place
Please note event parking is strictly prohibited in Market Street and the South Regional Library. Towing will be enforced.
