altIf you hate clipping and organizing paper coupons, there are great smartphone app alternatives that can save you big at the grocery store (and in some cases even make a little extra money!). Simply check out the apps below before (and even after!) your trip to the store to select the available coupons you like. Offers may be limited by time or quantity and most can be used in conjunction with other coupons. You earn cash back by redeeming those coupons, scanning the product UPC code and scanning your receipt.
  • Ibotta gives you $10 for joining and offers a huge amount of coupon rebates on brick-and-mortar grocery stores. They also have cash back for online retailers, similar to the sites above. There is a $20 minimum to cash out.
  • Checkout51 is similar to Ibotta and offers new coupon rebates each Thursday for brick-and-mortar grocery stores. There is a $20 minimum to cash out.
  • SavingStar is similar to Checkout51 and Ibotta and offers a smaller selection of brand-specific coupons. There is a $20 minimum to cash out.
  • Fetch Rewards is a points-based app. You earn points for every receipt you scan and additional points for specific brand special offers. Enter my code M3UPC at sign up and you'll get 3,000 Fetch Points (that's $3 in points) when you complete one receipt.
