Moviehouse & Eatery® Breaks Ground in The Woodlands


Folks, the ultimate movie night is just a few seasons away!! The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC), broke ground today on a new Moviehouse & Eatery®, which will open its first Houston location at Creekside Park® Village Center in The Woodlands® this fall (2019)! The luxury, dine-in theater will be located in a new 12-acre retail development, Creekside Park West, within the center, developed by The Howard Hughes Corporation.

Moviehouse & Eatery will include 11 wall-to-wall screens, full-service food and beverage service at every luxury reserved recliner, a full bar and a scratch kitchen. The Moviehouse & Eatery will anchor the initial phase of the retail development, making Creekside Park the first village in The Woodlands with its own theater.

Grand Re-Opening Celebration and FREE Smoothies for a Year - Tropical Smoothie Café Magnolia

Volunteers Needed For Tree Planting Event In The Woodlands

altThe community will come together to keep the woods in The Woodlands at the fifth annual Community Tree Planting event Saturday, February 9, 2019, from 8 a.m. to noon at Spindle Tree Ponds Park in the Village of Sterling Ridge.

All ages are encouraged to get their hands dirty planting thousands of native trees, wildflowers and milkweed plants. This effort supports The Woodlands Townships reforestation program as well as its Plant for Pollinators program that helps protect our native bees, butterflies and moths.

Celebrate Arbor Day in The Woodlands

Since 1977, The Woodlands Township has distributed over 1.5 million tree seedlings through their annual Arbor Day event. This year they will hand out another 44,000 seedlings free to residents of the community on Saturday, January 26th from 10AM-2PM at Hughes Landing. Class Act Stars On Tour will also be on hand for a special musical performance.
