McDonald's Houston's Children's Festival, March 30-31

The largest children's festival in the United States will be celebrating its 31st year on Saturday and Sunday, March 30 and 31 in Downtown Houston!

McDonald's Houston's Children's Festival is jam-packed with family fun and excitement, including Fourteen Big Family Adventure Zones, Circus Town, Five stages of music and entertainment, over three hundred fun activities, as well as featured celebrities, including Ronald McDonald and friends, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Curious George, Princess Presto and other exciting characters.

The Woodlands Express Rodeo Service Now Just $13 Roundtrip

The Woodlands Township has launched The Woodlands Express Rodeo Service for weekends in March and at a price of $13 roundtrip.

Those interested in more fun at the rodeo and less stress getting in and out of the event are strongly encouraged to make reservations now, while seats are still available.

‘The Dream Continues’ as The Pavilion Celebrates 30th Performing Arts Season

altGeorge P. Mitchell, founder of The Woodlands, along with his wife Cynthia Woods Mitchell, for whom The Pavilion is named, dreamed of creating a first-class performing arts facility for The Woodlands since the community's inception in 1974. They envisioned the facility as a venue for classical performances and educational events, as well as popular music.
 
The dream became a reality when The Pavilion opened with a star-studded gala weekend in April 1990. As The Pavilion celebrates its 30-year anniversary this season, it continues growing with a spectacular lineup of performing arts events including a special performance by The Boston Pops On Tour, seven Houston Symphony performances, a full production of La Bohème by Houston Grand Opera and a mixed repertory piece by the Houston Ballet.

There's a new preschool in town! Magic Oak Preschool Now Enrolling!

You may have passed the construction site dozens of times, wondering when the new preschool on Gosling will be open for business. Good news! The time is now! Magic Oak Preschool, located at 24527 Gosling Road, is currently enrolling for 2019 - 2020! The preschool boasts an innovative learning program that respects the child as a unique learner and considers the enriched environment and relationships with teachers and other children as vital for learning. Programs are offered for children from 18 months to 5 years, with a school day of 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Before and after school care is available.
