Township Presents ‘Holiday in The Woodlands’ at Arts in the Park, Saturday, December 19

Pack a picnic (and a jacket) this Saturday and come out to the Square! The Woodlands Township invites the community to a special Arts in the Park on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 5 p.m. at Waterway Square, 31 Waterway Square Place, The Woodlands, TX 77380. Arts in the Park is free and open to the public.

Points North Theatre, in conjunction with The Woodlands Township and The Woodlands Jazz Orchestra, presents ‘Holiday in The Woodlands,’ an original 1940s USO-style musical revue.

Virtual Holly Jolly Jingle, December 16

Join The Pavilion and Conroe Independent School District for a virtual Holly Jolly Jingle filmed on The Pavilion's Main Stage! With host Sally MacDonald from FOX26, a visit from the big man himself and special surprises of all kinds, you won't to miss this joyful celebration that will premiere Wednesday, December 16 at 6 p.m. on The Pavilion’s YouTube channel.

Gourmet popcorn in Old Town Spring - POPPS!

The warm, dill pickle flavored popcorn was my fave! POPPS is located at 317 Gentry Dr. D3 in Old Town Spring and has been open since March 2020, but we first discovered the store just last month, quite by accident. We were actually past the store when I looked back and the cute red signage and sparkling clean windows caught my attention. "Can we stop here for sec?" I asked my husband.

Free COVID-19 Testing at Township Town Hall—Insurance Now Accepted

The Woodlands Township is a host location for free COVID-19 testing performed by COVID-19 testing company, Curative, Inc. The walk-up testing takes place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, located at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd. The Woodlands, TX 77381 until future notice. Please see holiday hours noted below.

As part of the free COVID-19 testing, customers will now be asked to submit their insurance information when scheduling a test. Testing is still offered at no cost to the patient. Customers without insurance will still be tested at no personal cost using coverage from the CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act.

Harris County Precinct 4 has dozens of fun programs for local residents, and oftentimes the events fill up quickly. In case you're wondering, Precinct 4 is one of four precincts in Harris County and has an area of over 390 square miles—3,800 acres of which is conveniently-located park land, and even includes the entirety of the Village of Creekside Park in The Woodlands. 

Visit the Harris County Precinct 4 "Trails as Parks" website and you'll quickly see how many fun events are available for FREE - cart tours, fishing, archery, canoeing, gardening lessons, and so much more!

Ice Skating in The Woodlands begins November 20, 2020

Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy skating at The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center, opening Friday, November 20, 2020, at 3 p.m., and open daily through Monday, January 18, 2021, for wintry fun with sophisticated reservation and safety protocols.
 

The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center is located at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, 77380, adjacent to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The 21,000-square-foot permanent multipurpose facility features ice skating in a main room with lighting, a state-of-the-art sound system, tables and concessions.
