City Place debuts new art installation, “Invisible Music”

North Houston’s dynamic lifestyle hub City Place officially unveiled its newest public art installation, Invisible Music, which utilizes repurposed brass instruments to orchestrate a symphonic meditation on nature in picturesque City Place Park.The installation is free of charge and open to the public from 7am – 10pm daily through September 15.

For the sixth year, the State Fair of Texas is offering Sensory Friendly Mornings at the Fair every Wednesday – October 2, 9, and 16, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Providing a family-friendly environment is at the core of the State Fair mission. Therefore, the Fair is excited to bring back Sensory Friendly Mornings for a sixth year. The Fair collaborated with the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) and other local organizations to devise ways to make Sensory-Friendly Mornings beneficial and fun for all who choose to attend, with the goal of creating opportunities for people to experience the Fair in a more accessible way.

Bricks & Minifigs® (BAM) is the largest franchised toy store of its kind specializing in the buying, selling and trading of new and used LEGO® sets, bulk bricks, and minifigures (“minifigs”). The store will be located at 385A Sawdust Road and is the first store opened by franchisees Abe & Jessica Hughes, residents of Shenandoah.

Grogan's Mill Village Center to undergo transformative redevelopment in The Woodlands

On Saturday, July 27, The Woodlands Children’s Museum invites guests to come dressed in their favorite superhero attire, create a super art project and pose for photos with superheroes and characters from the CARS movie.

“Spider-Man said with great power comes great responsibility! On this day, we encourage children to find their inner superhero and better their community with everyday acts of kindness,” stated Angela Colton, the museum’s Executive Director.
