Alright alright, I’ll lay off the singing, but boba tea shops are becoming a BIG DEAL in The Woodlands, and my taste buds are here for it! Many moons ago when my husband and I were just dating, he introduced me to a modern, trendy, boba tea shop located in midtown Houston. I remember liking the idea of a stylish place for yuppies to bring their laptops to get work done, although at the time I wasn't too fond of the beverage.
A new, complimentary summer concert experience, "Hot Nights, Cool Grooves,: will take center stage at City Place on Saturday evenings – July 6, 13, 20 and 27 – from 6-9:30 pm. Guests will enjoy a picturesque setting overlooking waterfront City Place Park and a lively showcase of popular regional musical artists from a variety of genres.
Residents in The Woodlands will have the opportunity to celebrate America’s Independence with a variety of festivities and fireworks for the Fourth of July holiday.
On Monday, July 3, at 8 p.m., The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion welcomes Houston Symphony Orchestra to the Main Stage for the Star-Spangled Salute, presented by ExxonMobil. Bonjour! Fancy Nancy is ready for the spotlight! Main Street Theater’s production of Fancy Nancy The Musical based on the popular Fancy Nancy books by Jane O’Connor, with book and lyrics by Susan Di Lallo, and music and lyrics by Danny Abosch, opens June 15 and plays through July 28. The production will be at MST’s Midtown location at 3400 Main Street, 77002 at the MATCH and is recommended for Pre-Kindergarten and older.
