Spring is nearing full swing at north Houston’s City Place as March brings a week of complimentary activations spotlighting the Texas Bubblers, AndyRooniverse, Tippi Toes and Mr. Leo’s Puppet show, as well as a movie night and a pair of Saturday markets. The month also unveils Periwinkle, a one-of-a-kind temporary art installation, along with a special fashion exhibit kicking off International Women’s Day. Visitors will also enjoy an Easter celebration and popular reoccurring programming. The Magnolia Basketball Association “MBA” (magnoliabasketball.com) and Alodia Basketball Academy (alodiasports.com) are excited to announce their strategic partnership to provide year-round basketball youth leagues, skills training, and camps in the Magnolia community. The NEW MBA will be Magnolia Basketball-Alodia.
Spring Youth League and Skills Training (April and May) will be the first programs offered to the community. Registration for this program is available now and open to boys and girls grades 1-8. Grades 7-8 division is a new offering for the youth leagues in the Magnolia community.
