So. Much. Charm! I dropped in at Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café mid-morning on a Monday, and right away, I knew this restaurant was something special. I thought my daughter and I would have the place to ourselves... you know, with it being Monday and 36 degrees and all. But there were couples sitting together drinking coffee, two groups of lady friends enjoying a brunch with spirited conversation and laughter, and other patrons who were dining alone and quietly savoring the energetic vibe of this place.
A wall of windows highlights one entire side of the restaurant, and natural light pours in, and the setting is just amazingly sweet and… Parisian! You order your food at the front counter, and then you go find a table (or hang around and watch your food being made in front of you, if it’s not too busy!).
My family recently returned from a fun visit to LEGOLAND® Discovery Center in Grapevine, just north of Dallas. If you have preschool to early elementary brick fanatics at home, you'll want to consider a visit to one of the ultimate LEGO® playgrounds! Smaller than the LEGOLAND® theme parks, the Dallas/Fort Worth LEGOLAND® Discovery Centers features over ten attractions - from rides to building opportunities to amazing showcase displays - all included in your ticket price.
It is only fitting that one of the first exhibits you experience at The DoSeum, San Antonio's Museum for Kids, is a set of spinning, mirrored columns. This simple, interactive feature immediately sets the tone for your visit: engaging, whimsical and full of giggles. I had a wonderful first visit to The Doseum - learning, creating and exploring - and want to share my favorite experiences!
