® has recently marked the official grand opening of Creekside Park® The Grove, the newest multifamily residential community in Creekside Park Village Center in The Woodlands®.

Creekside Park The Grove is the second multifamily development in the Village of Creekside Park and builds on the success of the award-winning Creekside Park The Residences, which has also been developed by The Howard Hughes Corporation.

Fun & Free! Annual Boots vs. Badges softball game - August 29, 2021

What a fun night! In celebration of National Night Out, residents are invited to come out and cheer on local public safety personnel in a game of softball on Sunday, August 29, 2021, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at McCullough Junior High School’s Scotland Yard. This is an opportunity to catch the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and The Woodlands Fire Department battling it out at the annual Boots vs. Badges softball game, coordinated through The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch program. This is a free event that is fun for the whole family.

SeaWorld San Antonio celebrates with Fiesta Del Mar, August 27 - Sept 6

San Antonio’s rich Hispanic culture meets the sea at Fiesta del Mar! The newest SeaWorld tradition comes alive every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with the vibrant colors, smells, and sounds of old Mexico. Guests will enjoy the familiar sounds of violins and vocals from authentic mariachi bands, colorful flamenco performances and indulge in their favorite Mexican food and drinks. This limited time cultural celebration runs Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from August 27 through September 5 as well as Labor Day, Monday, September 6. 

Fiesta del Mar lets guests celebrate the rich traditions of San Antonio. A Fiesta del Mar chef-created menu includes nachos, tacos, tostadas, roasted corn, churros, mangonadas, and the ever-popular San Antonio favorite, chicken-on-a-stick!  Guests can choose from an assortment of refreshing adult beverages including margaritas, Horchata with rum, Modelo, Modelo Negra, Dos Equis, and Tecate beers, as well as a selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Houston’s 8th Annual Homeschool Family Expo to take place August 21 in Spring, TX

In support of the growing trend towards education at home, WoodlandsMommy.com is planning its 8th annual Homeschool Family Expo for Houston & suburban areas, featuring dozens of homeschool-related exhibitors, live stage entertainment, Chick-fil-A concessions, and other activities. The event will take place on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 10am – 4pm at the Klein ISD Multipurpose Center, 7500 FM 2920 Rd., Spring, TX. Admission is free and open to the public.

The goal of the Homeschool Family Expo is to bring current and prospective homeschoolers together with the growing number of businesses who offer products, services, classes, and programs that service the needs of homeschooling families.

Celebrate Labor Day at Waterway Square, Sunday, September 5

The Woodlands Township invites residents to relax and enjoy Labor Day weekend on Sunday, September 5, 2021, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Waterway Square (31 Waterway Square Place). Enjoy live music, children’s activities, strolling entertainment, pie eating contests and a fireworks display.  

This free event will have live music by Cold Shot (Variety), children’s craft activities (while supplies last), complimentary face painting and balloon art and youth and adult pie eating contests. A beverage booth will be available to purchase a variety of beverages. Please consider supporting local restaurants before or after attending the event.

The Labor Day weekend event is produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department. Pie eating contests sponsored by Pie in the Sky Pie Co. 

Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted; glass prohibited. Those planning to attend the event should practice social distancing, refrain from gathering in large groups and continue to follow all guidelines established by the CDC. Face coverings are optional.
