Five Sweet Ways to celebrate your child's first Easter

firsteaster
Your baby’s first Easter is the perfect time to start traditions, take way too many pictures, and soak up all the springtime joy. Here are five memorable (and adorable) ways to make it extra special:

  1. A Keepsake Easter Basket – Fill a basket with soft plushies, a personalized book, and maybe a baby-sized bunny ear headband. Snap a pic to look back on for years.
  2. Egg Hunt (Baby-Style) – The Woodlands is full of Easter Egg hunt events for kids, but sometimes they're not quite infant-friendly. No worries! You can hide brightly colored (non-choking hazard) eggs around a room in your home and let your little one "find" them with your help. Bonus: fill them with sweet notes instead of candy.
  3. First Bunny Photoshoot – Whether it’s with a real bunny or a stuffed one, set up a little spring scene and capture that Easter magic. Or head out to the Easter-themed photo opp in Market Street (set up throughout entire Easter weekend) and take pictures there.
  4. Footprint Art – Use pastel paint to make baby footprint bunnies or chicks on canvas or cardstock. A Pinterest-worthy craft and keepsake in one!
  5. Springtime Stroll – Pop your babe in the stroller and go for a spring walk to look at blooming flowers. Add a stop for iced coffee and it's a win-win.

Happy Easter to your little one, from WoodlandsMommy.com! And mom, be sure to cherish these soft and sweet beginnings! Next year they'll be running around hunting eggs for real!
