Grogan's Mill Village Center to undergo transformative redevelopment in The Woodlands

 and Montgomery County Commissioner James Noack announced construction will begin today on the revitalization of Grogan’s Mill Village Center. Originally developed in 1974 as the first village center in The Woodlands®, this project will breathe new life into a beloved community hub and feature a state-of-the-art library, community center, and 32,000 square feet of modern retail space.

On Saturday, July 27, The Woodlands Children’s Museum invites guests to come dressed in their favorite superhero attire, create a super art project and pose for photos with superheroes and characters from the CARS movie.

“Spider-Man said with great power comes great responsibility! On this day, we encourage children to find their inner superhero and better their community with everyday acts of kindness,” stated Angela Colton, the museum’s Executive Director.

Alright alright, I’ll lay off the singing, but boba tea shops are becoming a BIG DEAL in The Woodlands, and my taste buds are here for it! Many moons ago when my husband and I were just dating, he introduced me to a modern, trendy, boba tea shop located in midtown Houston. I remember liking the idea of a stylish place for yuppies to bring their laptops to get work done, although at the time I wasn't too fond of the beverage.

A new, complimentary summer concert experience, "Hot Nights, Cool Grooves,: will take center stage at City Place on Saturday evenings – July 6, 13, 20 and 27 – from 6-9:30 pm.
