Really BIG tiny Adventure presented by Zappos adaptive is more then a show. Fun, learning, and exploration begin as soon as you arrive with an in-lobby experience for the whole family. Registration for the Junior Aggie Club and the UFCU Longhorns Kids Club is now open for children 12 years of age and younger. Both clubs offer membership perks like free or reduced admission to many athletic events throughout the year.
The Woodlands Township will hold the National Night Out Community Safety Expo on Saturday, October 6, 2018, from noon to 3 p.m. at Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive. This free, family-friendly event highlights public safety in the community and is held in advance of National Night Out, which is set for Sunday, October 14, 2018.
The Woodlands Family YMCA Dragon Boat Team Challenge Presented by REPSOL is scheduled across four days, September 27-30, and will be held at Northshore Park in The Woodlands. More than 100 teams will participate in a single 4 hour bracket.
The event features 6 different team activities, but the Dragon Boat Races are the main event. The boats, owned by The American Dragon Boat Association, are transported from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Dragon boats are forty feet long, extremely, colorful and weigh over 1,800 pounds.

Moms, best friends and funny ladies Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley, creators of the viral web-series #IMOMSOHARD, brought their Mom's Night Out: Round 2 show to Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land on September 25th. Through their web videos the duo copes with parenthood by laughing about all of the craziness that comes with being a mom, from snot to stretchmarks to sleepless nights. They try, they fail, they support each other, and they mom as hard as they can.
The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department is hosting numerous events throughout the fall and winter months, requiring the help of many volunteers. These events are a great opportunity to get involved with the community while helping to make Township programs a success.
