Have a first look at Pine Cove Park!

Pine Cove Park is open and you’ll love it!! We couldn’t find an address on this place, but I’ve included a map at the bottom of this post along with a few locating tips.

I’ve been anxiously waiting for over a year for the fence around this new park to come down, and finally – as of January 31, 2021, there’s no fence and the park it’s open! Harris County has made such wonderful use of this gem of a space located in the Augusta Pines area only a couple of minutes south of The Woodlands.

Check out this playground! The park features seesaws, baby slides, spinners, and a large modern playscape for climbing and sliding. My girls couldn’t get enough of the large disc swings!

The covered pavilion provides respite and relief for the sunniest of days and features picnic tables and benches, and even a couple of rocker-style chairs. Several bathrooms are on site.

The sports court allows for basketball and racquetball play, and the park also features a bocce ball court (say what?!) and a corn hole/ bean bag toss.

Not finished yet. There are ping-pong tables, a foosball table, and two chess / checkerboard tables! All you have to do is bring your equipment (though we learned that pine cones do well in a game of corn hole.)

The picnic areas with grills and the walking trails built within the park are lovely, as is the large fenced-in dog park. For this being a park on the smaller side, it’s surprising that your family could spend ALL day here and not get bored.

Pine Cove Park is located on Augusta Pine Pkwy E between Augusta Pines Dr. and Golden Bell Dr. It's not far off Kuykendahl Rd. and only minutes away from the Village of Creekside Park. Here’s a link to it in Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/Lqsbafb3xHLTDncr8
