The Woodlands Children's Museum Provides Resources, Participates in Giving Tuesday Now

Giving Tuesday Now is a global day of giving and unity that will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. At The Woodlands Children’s Museum, staff have been working hard while the museum is closed to give back to the community and offer children and families a sense of normalcy and connection while at home.

“It’s important to connect with each other and come together on behalf of our communities during this challenging time,” stated Angela Colton, Executive Director of The Woodlands Children’s Museum. “Although we cannot welcome guests and ‘play together’ right now, we want families to know we are thinking of them and trying to offer simple ways to engage and connect.”

Meet Rebecca Groenow, Owner of Kidtivities

Have you heard of Kidtivities? It's a new soft play rental business serving The Woodlands and surrounding area!
The inspiration behind this fun and unique business started when local resident, Rebecca Groenow, was planning her son Max’s first birthday party. She quickly realized how limited her options were when trying to find age-appropriate activities for her young son and his friends to enjoy. Around this same time, Rebecca visited the Children's Museum of Houston where she discovered their toddler soft play area. She was surprised by how much the little ones loved crawling, climbing, and exploring the play area, and she knew these types of activities would make a great concept for a birthday party.
