cynthia
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion has just announced its 2023 Performing Arts Season, featuring exciting symphonic experiences, family-friendly events and more!

The Pavilion will kick off its arts season in glimmering fashion with the Houston Ballet performance of George Balanchine’s Jewels on May 5. Each of the three acts in this full-length ballet embody their namesake jewel through the unique musical stylings of their corresponding composer. The Pavilion is excited to welcome back the Houston Ballet for this stunning performance, sponsored by The Wortham Foundation, that’s sure to sparkle.

Reach for the sky with a concert and movie on June 1 at Toy Story – Film with Live Orchestra, sponsored by Texas Children’s Hospital – The Woodlands! Beloved by kids and grownups alike, experience this Disney and Pixar animated classic with the Houston Symphony performing Oscar®- and Grammy® Award-winning composer Randy Newman’s unforgettable score live to the film on the big screen.

On July 14, get all shook up as the Houston Symphony performs The Music of Elvis in a rollicking retrospective for the ages on The Pavilion Main Stage, presented by Huntsman! As the “Summer Home” for the Houston Symphony, attendees are guaranteed to be entertained all season by an exciting lineup of orchestra performances including Star-Spangled Salute on July 3, Cirque de la Symphonie on July 20, Blast Off to Space! on September 14 and the annual Hocus Pocus Pops on October 20.

Mezzanine and lawn seating are free for all performing arts events. Tickets for most performances are $25 for orchestra seating. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic from home or their favorite restaurant to enjoy in their seat or on the hill. Keep in mind that beverages cannot be brought into The Pavilion and picnics must also comply with The Pavilion’s bag size restriction and/or be in original packaging.

Enhance your experience with a Performing Arts Season Subscription! The 2023 Performing Arts Season Ticket Package is extremely affordable at $300 per seat. Subscriptions include orchestra-level seating for six performing arts events, access to the exclusive Woodforest Bank Club which features a food buffet and non-alcoholic beverages included with your club pass and garage parking.
