The Houston Zoo is opening up more attractions for guests! First, you should know that as of July 30, the water play park, giraffe feeding platform, playgrounds, and water fountains are still CLOSED. And when you visit the zoo, you'll follow a modified path to see many of your favorite animals in their outdoor habitats. However, you can now take a ride on the Wildlife Carousel, explore the extended Wortham World of Primates and bears pathways, and cool off in one of the indoor air-conditioned buildings - including Natural Encounters, Bug House, and more. We're thrilled to see the zoo bouncing back and offering more for is guests to enjoy during this time!

Be sure to snag your tickets and make your reservation online before heading out. Online reservation are required for all guests and members, and no admission tickets will be sold onsite.  When you purchase your tickets online, you'll choose a reservation time, and this is your assigned arrival time. You can arrive at your assigned time and enjoy the zoo until closing (last entry at 4:00pm.) Be sure everyone in your party who's ages 10 and older wears a face covering. They're required!
