(REOPENING DELAYED!) Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown reopens for Summer 2020

UPDATE: As of Friday, June 26, the reopening of Six Flags Hurricane Harbor has been delayed. The park will not reopen on June 29 as announced in this article. We'll provide an update as soon as we have one.

Are you ready for some over-the-top water thrills? Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown, Houston's largest waterpark featuring over 40 thrill-inducing slides and attractions, will reopen for the 2020 season on Monday, June 29 for members and pass holders and on July 3 for everyone else. As part of its reopening plan, the park will implement health screenings for guests and team members, strictly enforced social distancing, extensive sanitation and disinfecting protocols, managed attendance, and more.

Six Flags opened its 48-acre Hurricane Harbor re-branded water park last year, at which time it debuted Wahoo Wave, a 6-story water slide that sends riders on a 30-foot plunge "before sweeping up across the top of a massive water wall and descending into a refreshing pool below."

Members and Season Pass Holders have free, unlimited visits to all Six Flags theme parks across the country.
