Registration is now open for Play Smarter Kids Early Learning and Enrichment Center's new five-day preschool option for three- to six-year-old children opening this fall.Play Smarter Kids owner and director Aurora Clarke writes the original curriculum to integrate STEAM concepts (science, technology, engineering, art and math) with early literacy. The program includes three to four hands-on activities per hour, so children are playing, exploring and learning. Play Smarter Kids also commits to maintaining a 1:6 teacher:student ratio.
"Play Smarter Kids is excited to expand our program to a five-day preschool," said Aurora Clarke, owner and director of Play Smarter Kids Early Learning and Enrichment Center. "Our unique program builds on kids' natural desire to learn and introduces complex concepts that expand critical thinking, problem solving and sharing new ideas. Even though we're learning how to program a robot or explore polymers, the kids primarily feel like we're having fun."Flexible Scheduling:
Hours: Morning session (9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) OR afternoon session (12:30 - 4:00 p.m.)
Schedule: Children may enroll for two, three, four or five days per week
Ages: Children aged 3-6 will attend mixed-age classes.
Play Smarter Kids will continue offering weekly enrichment classes on a space-available basis, including Playbotics, Smart Art, Science, Cooking and Technology. All enrolled preschool students will attend these classes with an additional focused time on early literacy. Additional options are available after school hours for 6 to 10-year-olds.
