Winter weather is here! Make these snowflakes this week!

Snow?? We're excited... and a bit nervous, to tell the truth. What will we do with the kids this week? There's no school on Monday and Tuesday because of this freak winter storm, and we're wondering if the situation will look any better later in the week. The best news is that we're getting snow, and with that comes a longing desire to make cute snowflake crafts. (Hey, it's a perfect way to keep little minds occupied.)

Here are a few links to fun snowflakes to make this week.

1. Giant 3-D Snowflakes. These large paper snowflakes are our favorites, and this is what's shown in the photograph above. All you need is regular printer paper (or any type of paper you want to use), scissors, and scotch tape.

2. Cotton Ball Snowflakes (for toddlers). All you need is construction paper, cotton balls, and glue.

3. Pretzel Stick Snowflakes. These tasty snowflakes call for pretzel sticks, white chocolate / candy coating, and sprinkles!

4.  Fold & Cut Snowflakes. These snowflake-making templates and tips will have you making your own varied designs in no time!
