Houston Zoo offers free admission to all guests on the first Tuesday of every month, September to May, from open until closing. Online reservations are required for all guests and members. Use this link to access the reservations page.
Please note that this offer includes zoo admission only, and does not include Zoo Lights, the carousel, giraffe feeding, or other events/attractions.
Free Tuesday Afternoons have high attendance and free parking areas are limited. Plan your parking strategy ahead of time; arriving via Metro is an option. See the Directions and Parking webpage for more information.
Check the Zoo website for tickets for the following 2023 dates: March 7, April 4, May 2, June 6. Reservations open the Wednesday evening before the week of free admission.
