Live music at Market Street is back as the Fall Concert Series lineup features artists performing Top 40, country, cover favorites and more, every Thursday, September 22 through October 27 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Sponsored by Sewell Automotive, Market Street’s 2022 Fall Concert Series is free and open to the public. Guests are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs and sit back, relax, and enjoy the performances.
So, Popeyes has beignets now. I’m not a beignet snob, but I’ve had my fair share of beignets that didn’t measure up. These DO! Otherwise, I wouldn’t bother writing a whole post on a fast food dessert, trust me.
The beignets are filled with Hershey’s chocolate, they’re slightly crunchy, slightly chewy, and made fresh to order (which added an extra 4 minutes to my wait.) I WOULD say I like them better than the ones I’ve had at Cafe du Monde in New Orleans, but I don’t need anybody (particularly my husband) coming after me. So I won’t say it.
Emerging indie pop artist Eiffel Taylor was determined to arrive to the Spring-located music studio in time to record her second single, “Flip the Tables.” So was her mom. Running late for their appointment and rushing, Karen Logan sped out of the home garage before it fully opened, crashing into the garage door and ripping down the minivan’s spoiler in a forced, frenzied exit.
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is transforming into a giant playground for the annual Children’s Festival presented by Texas Children’s Hospital-The Woodlands and the whole family is invited to dive into the fun! Tickets are now on sale for this year’s festival which will take place on Saturday, November 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 13 from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $10 per person and includes all performances and activities.
The Howard Hughes Corporation recently donated $2,000 to the YMCA for its Operation Backpack program as part of a health and wellness initiative. During June, Howard Hughes pledged to donate $1 for every mile walked, jogged or biked by its employees in the over 300 miles of nature trails in The Woodlands, Bridgeland and The Woodlands Hills. June is Great Outdoors Month, highlighting national trails.
