On Wednesday, February 5th, The Woodlands Christian Academy’s (TWCA) students, faculty, staff and coaches gathered to celebrate two student athlete Warriors for National Football Signing Day for the Class of 2025.

Two young men from TWCA’s senior class and Varsity Football Team, Grayson Boeker and William Cook were honored for becoming part of a special class of athletes. The current research shows that only about 6% of all high school athletes receive an opportunity to play at the collegiate level.

The Warrior Athletes:

Grayson Boeker is a 3-year letterman for the Warrior Football team. Grayson signed to play football at the University of Houston. TWCA’s Head Football Coach Kolby Hull said, “Grayson was a formidable part of what the football program has become. His leadership on the defensive side of the ball helped the team beat great odds all season long. He made big plays throughout his career and gave his team chances to be successful.” Grayson is certainly up for the challenge at University of Houston.

William Cook is a 1-year letterman for the Warrior Football Team. William signed to play football at Houston Christian University. Coach Hull said, “William brought a competitive edge to the trenches of TWCA. He made everyone around him better. His efforts in practice made us a better team on both sides of the ball. We, as coaches, know that we had the best offensive lineman in all of private schools in Houston and in all of TAPPS.” He will do great things at Houston Christian, and TWCA looks forward to watching his journey.

Also, Woodlands Christian thanks the Warrior Nation of parents for entrusting the school for their children’s mentorship and development and for partnering alongside TWCA.
