Remember when Lakeshore Learning used to offer free crafts for kids on the weekends, and then the pandemic hit and all that came to an end? I'm so thrilled to report these fun activities are back!
Every Saturday from 11am - 3pm, Lakeshore Learning (located at 9075 Interstate 45 S in the Shenandoah Portofino) will be offering fun, hands-on activities, giveaways for kids, and an exclusive coupon, geared for ages 3 and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. Reservations are not required.
In the past, I've really appreciated these events because the staff keeps the kids busy doing something artsy at the craft table while parents have an opportunity to shop around the awesome store (and pick up a load of educational stuff to make your child work on during the new school year)! With the re-launch, there's a storytime first, and the following activities appear to be play-blased and not actual crafts that you make and take home, which is just as good. One less thing to throw away!
