New Splash Pad at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park in Conroe Opens

One of the City of Conroes capital improvement projects for fiscal year 2016-2017 was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park (1001 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Place South). Improvements were completed in October of 2017 and included a 5,000 square foot splash pad (operational 8am-8pm March through October) with activities for all ages, a sand volleyball court, two Futsal (small sided soccer) courts, trail lighting, Pickelball courts (striping only), resurfacing of the basketball courts, restroom improvements and new picnic tables.
