Sorting Circles
Cut a variety of shapes from
construction paper.  Make these in
several sizes, and include quite a few
circles. Tape the shapes to the wall or
a poster board at random. Help your
child pick out all the circles and place
them on the floor.


Make Paper Plate Frisbees
Decorate paper plates with paint,  
stickers, markers, or crayons. Talk
about how the plate is a circle.

Go on a circle hunt throughout the
house and make a Circle Collage  (lids,
old CDs, dot stickers, coins, buttons,

Hold both your child's hands, go
around in a circle and sing "Ring
Around the rosy, a pocket full of posy,

down). This is a fun game to play with
an additional playmate or you can use
one of your child's dolls/stuffed
animals to make a circle of 3.
