Round and Round
Round and round the garden
Went the teddy bear,
One step, two steps,
Tickle you under there.

Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear
Teddy bear, teddy bear
turn around,
Teddy bear, teddy bear
touch the ground.
Teddy bear, teddy bear
tie your shoe,
Teddy bear, teddy bear,
I love you.

Oh Here We Are
(tune "The More We Get Together)
Oh here we are together,
together, together,
Oh here we are together,
together we'll play.
Here's mommy and (baby's name),
and (baby's name) and mommy,
Oh here we are together,
together we'll play.

Sun and Moon (lifing game)
(sung to Loop D Loo)
Baby go up to the sun,
Baby go up to the moon,
Baby go up to the chimney top,
Every afternoon.

Mary Had a Little Lamb
Mary had a little lamb,
little lamb, little lamb,
Mary had a little lamb,
It's fleece was white as snow.
Everywhere that Mary went,
Mary went, Mary went,
Everywhere that Mary went
the lamb was sure to go.

Open Them, Shut Them
Open them, shut them,
Open them, shut them,
Make a little clap clap clap.
Open them, shut them,
Open them, shut them,
Place them in your lap lap lap.

Pretend Play - Nap Time
Put your baby's stuffed animals
to bed. ("Nap time"). Help your
infant rock the animals off to
sleep and then lie them down
on the floor with a pillow and a
blanket. Tell them "goodnight"
and dim the lights. Come back
later when it's time to "wake up"
the animals.

Stuff the Animals
Provide small boxes or crates
and help your child stuff the
stuffed animals inside, then
remove them / dump them out.

Explore Teddy Bears
Explore your infant's
stuffed animals. Name
each animal and point
to body parts. Turn the
animals upside down.
Play peek-a-boo
games with the
animals. Squeeze
them, hug them, love
them!

Face to Face Interaction:
Play with your infant with a
stuffed animal. Use a funny
voice to make the stuffed
animal talk. Make the animal
give your baby kisses on each
body part, counting to ten as
you go (Ex. One kiss on
baby's little head, two kisses
on baby's ears, three kisses
on baby's knee, etc.)
