Shadow Puppet Theatre Thursday, June 5th at 11am presents “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle. This beloved classic follows the little caterpillar with a voracious appetite throughout his life cycle, culminating in his transformation into a beautiful butterfly.

Shadow Puppet Theatre Thursday, June 12th at 11am presents “We’re Very Good Friends, My Father and I” by P. K. Hallinan. In honor of Father’s Day, this story highlights the special relationship and bond between a child and his father.

Special Storytimes for Fairy Day. At 11:00am enjoy “Camilla the Cupcake Fairy’ by Tim Bugbird. This precious cupcake fairy is challenged by not being experienced in using her very first wand. However, by keeping at it with the help of her fairy friends, they create the perfect cupcake with their perfect friendship. Then at 1:00pm giggle along to “The Fairy Garden” by Georgia Buckthorn. Mimi has worked so hard to make a perfect fairy garden, but the fairies never come! What is she doing wrong? Suddenly, she sees some twinkling lights…!

Shadow Puppet Theatre Thursday, June 26th at 11am presents “Mela and the Elephant” by Dow Phumiruk. This beautiful story set in Thailand is about Mela, who ventures outside her village to explore but encounters trouble when her little boat is swept downstream into the jungle. She is unsuccessful in getting help to return home from the jungle creatures she encounters until an elephant appears and teaches Mela a lesson about kindness.
